~Loving Me Trusting You Promo Post~

Loving Me, Trusting You Blurb

The Triple M Motorcycle Gang has a new president in Austin Sparks, the bad boy biker that swept Amy Cross off her feet. And nobody's happier about that than Gaine Kelley. Now that his best friend has finally found the woman of his dreams, Gaine's free to go after Mireya. But what if she isn't ready yet? What if the demons from her past howl so loud she can't hear him calling?

Mireya Sawyer isn't ready for love. Not yet. Maybe not ever. Especially not when the one thing she's always fought for is called into question. Triple M may not be a 'real' MC, but they're posing as one, and there are people that don't like that. People who can't accept the way they do things and are willing to take the time to put a stop to it. With several rival gangs circling around, threatening the rights of the women in Triple M, Mireya knows it's time to forget her love affair with Austin and move on. Thing is, Gaine's not willing to stand on the sidelines anymore. He loves her, but can she trust him?

LOVING ME, TRUSTING YOU (BOOK 2) EXCERPT:

“What in the holy hell is wrong with that woman?” Austin asks, shading his eyes against the harsh burn of the sun.  My helmet's still on, and I'm peering out the visor at the remnants of Mireya Sawyer's soul.  They're scattered across the yellow desert for all of Triple M to see, laid bare and sizzling hot.  Even if I didn't know her as well as I do, I could see that she's bleeding inside, hurtin' so hard she can't breathe.  My first instinct is to cross the dry ground that separates us and take her into my arms, whisper into her hair and tell her that everyone's going to be okay, that I'll take care of her forever.

She'd probably kick me in the fucking nuts.

A smile teases the edge of my lips as I rub at the broken heart tattoo on my shoulder.  Austin isn't happy about the sudden stop, but I don't mind.  I'd do anything for Mireya Sawyer.  Even wait around for ten plus friggin' years while she pined for my best friend.

“Should I go talk to her?” Amy Cross asks, sneaking up between Austin and me, and curling her delicate fingers around his arm.  Brunette hair whips around her face, hiding the expression of concern that's there, genuine and sympathetic.  She's a miracle that, girl.  The one person on this earth that I think is capable of handling Austin.  She's calm, collected, and she don't hold no fucking grudge against Mireya.  I feel good knowing she's Austin's soul mate.  I just hope he's aware of how lucky he is.

“Nah,” I say, watching through the visor, waiting with my breath caught in my chest for that day that might never come, for the day that Mireya Sawyer looks me in the eyes and tells me she loves me right back.  I've told her before.  Just once.  It didn't go over so well.  I plan on doing it again, but I don't know when.  If I have to, I'll wait another ten years.  I'd rather not, thank you very much, but I will.  I'd wait forever if I had to.

I glance over at Beck who's busy checking out Amy's ass.  When Austin sees, he growls low in his throat and our friend backs off, running his hand through his red hair and chuckling.  Dumb as a Goddamn doornail, but ten times tougher.  I really believe that Beck could take out twenty men by himself.  Wouldn't surprise me a bit.

“She's just … dealing with some old shit,” I say as Austin sighs and glances back at the group behind us.  Triple M.  Our family.  Our friends.  The people we'd do anything for, that would do anything for us.  It's a confusing time right now, but they're all still here and they're not asking questions.  I think it's because we all knew deep down that Kent Diamond was a Goddamn lunatic.  Well, okay, for me it wasn't even deep down, but thing is, he did a lot of good for us all, rescued us when nobody else was there, gave us a home and a family.  He might've been an asshole, and a backstabber, but he was still the one that gathered us all together, whatever his reasons.

        But now he's dead.

Austin didn't bother to check before we left, but I did.  I felt for a pulse, and I got nothin'.  I don't think Sparks cared either way.  All that mattered to him was Amy, and that was that.  He took Kent out without a second thought.  Guess love will make you do shit like that without thinking.  It's a violently gentle emotion, ain't it?  A contradiction in and of itself.  I know it's been screwing with me forever.  Especially when I saw that stupid bitch, Tray Walker.

Fuck.  I wanted to kill that son of a bitch with my bare hands, feel the life drain out of him while I gazed into his eyes and showed him exactly how I felt about what he did to Mireya.  Stupid motherfucker.  But it wasn't my decision.  It was hers.  Beck gave her the knife, and we walked out.  She had blood on her hands when she came out, but not a lot.  I don't know what happened, and she doesn't want to talk about it with anyone.  Not a single soul.

“We can't sit on the side of the highway all day,” Austin warns, but I'm not sure who he's talking to exactly.  He's in charge now, so he better get used to it.

“Okay, Pres,” I say, lifting up my visor and feeling the burn of the sun on my skin.  “So what do you want to do about it?”  Austin gives me a look, blowing out a rush of air like he isn't quite sure he's ready for all this.  I don't tell him, but to me and Beck, he's always been in charge.  He's the only one we've ever really listened to.

“Give her five minutes,” Amy says, so quiet that I almost don't catch her words.  Austin does though.  And he hangs all over them like a kid on the monkey bars.  Jesus.  This boy is so head over heels, it's hard to look at him.  I hope he realizes it.  “I think she needs this.  If you rush her, she'll hang onto the pain.  Let her go for a minute, please?” Amy asks, pressing a kiss to the leather sleeve of Austin's jacket.  His arm curls around her waist protectively, and his eyes soften a bit.  Jesus.

I turn away.  I can't look at that.  Not right now.  I'm jealous, and I don't want to be.  I just want to be happy.  I just want to be with Mireya Sawyer.

~Bent Blog Tour Stop

                          5 Stars
Synopsis:

If there’s one thing Julia Wilson has learned in life, it’s that you can’t push your own dreams to the background for anyone. Newly divorced, Julia returns to the hometown she once swore would never see her again. Her plan is simple; enjoy the cheap rent her friend is offering and stay just long enough to develop a plan to make her own dreams come true.
It doesn’t take long before Julia realizes she’s made a big mistake.

Micah Anderson came closer to breaking Julia than anyone else ever had. After promising her forever, he broke her heart the week before she left for college. Now, Julia’s back in town and he’s going to have to tell her the truth about why he left her. It’s not possible to hide a twelve year old child when you live in a town of 5,000 people.

Is following your dreams worth it if it means giving up on a second chance with her first love? Is trying to make a relationship work worth it if his past becomes a threat to her safety
?

Review:

This is a beautiful love story about the ultimate betrayal. There is also a lot of love, some loss and plenty of confusion that goes along with the daily struggles of putting life back together after having your heart smashed to bits repeatedly in life.

Bent follows Julia and Micah, who are reunited many years after their break-up before Julia left for college. The Break up was the kind that devastated them both; it was something that really both of them never got over (though really, it was all Micah's fault). Julia's ran back town after divorcing from her husband, hoping she can finally relax and find her herself once again. But, unfortunately there's no way she could avoid Micah in this small town. Micah was absolutely devastated over their breakup and has never gotten over the guilt caused by hurting Julia. To say the least Julia was broken, and she is   determined to not repeat the past.

“Micah, even with everything that has happened in our lives. I don’t think there was ever a time when I didn’t love you. You’ve bent the hell out of my heart but for whatever reasons, I never stopped loving you.”(JuIlia)

“I know I screw up” Micha said softly “I screw up a lot. You’re going to have to get used to hearing me apologize because I ‘m not sure I’ll ever stop making mistakes” (Micah)

There were a lot of bumps in the road and honestly a few twists along the way that honestly made my heart hurt. I fell in love with this couple and Caleb and all I could think was that I really hoped it all worked out for them in the end.  I absolutely could not put this book down….I had to know …and when the book ended I needed to know more, I can’t wait to read the next book!!

"One yellow rose," Micah said handing the first rose to Julia, "to tell you how happy you've made me by coming home, even if it's only for a while." "A pink rose," he continued, "to say thank you for allowing me into your life. I was an ass and even if I told you I'm sorry every day until I die, it wouldn't be enough." "This red rose," he handed her the third stem, "because I love you. I always have and I always will." (Micah)

Author Bio:

With the exception of three years spent in the middle of Nebraska, H.B. Heinzer has called southern Wisconsin home. During that time in Nebraska, she imagined one of her favorite authors living on the far western edge of the county, just south of the highway. At the time, becoming a novelist was a distant dream for her. Now, she is the author living in that location. Ironically, she later found out that same favorite author lives just outside the town HB lived in for the first eighteen years of her life.
Now, HB lives in the middle of nowhere but still close enough to the city to not feel isolated. It's the perfect place to let her two kids run and explore their huge yard, teach them about the food chain as they prepare their first-ever garden and debate building a chicken coop. It's one of those dreams that is only possible thanks to the amazing opportunities that have come through writing.

AUTHOR BIO

Melissa Andrea I find it hard to sum up my life in a paragraph, but I’ll try. I am the author of Flutter, The Discover Series! Reading has always been a passion for me, and writing as instinctive as breathing. Every inhale is an idea; every exhale a creation. The only thing I do better than writing you ask? Making beautiful girls. My daughter’s will always be my greatest accomplishment. I was born in Denver, Colorado–but I will always think of sunny Arizona as my home. I don’t have a big family, but I’m close with my sister, brother & my mom. My mom is my hero, my inspiration, and I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing person to be raised by. 4 things you should know about me: I’m very girly, but I can get down and dirty with the best of them. I adore the color pink and things that sparkle (including vampires), I am a firm believer that chocolate cures ALL and I like even numbers (hence 4 things about me, not 5) Okay, maybe I cheated a little with my list, shhhh.

 EXCERPT

“I’m afraid I’m going to have this hanging on my conscious all day now.” he teased. “That only seems fair.” “Yes it does, but I have a better suggestion.” his voice slid over my skin like silk. “Better for whom?” “Go out with me.” His proposal stunned me for a second and then I found my voice. “So better for you?” “I like to think of it as a mutual enjoyment.” “I fail to see how.” He shifted, and his breath hit my face in warm puffs. “Go out with me and I’ll show you.”

Cursive Blog Tour Stop

Synopsis:

The past pulls. The future shoves. The present just begs for a time-out.

Aislynn Currington is searching for an escape from her tumultuous past, one that includes a severely broken heart and a very complicated relationship with a mother who uses criticism as her preferred mode of expressing love.

Jace Quinn is a driven businessman who, even after surviving a serious life-changing event, remains hell bent on avoiding any form of serious attachment.

Some define insanity as doing things repeatedly while expecting a different outcome. What will Aislynn and Jace need to do to break this endless loop?

With the help of their undeniably intense sexual attraction, witty banter, and love for high-end coffee machines, Aislynn and Jace learn to bravely battle through the challenges of falling in love at the most inconvenient time, in a place they did not plan to be, and with the person they can’t seem to stop running into.

Cursive's multiple layers of drama, romance, passion, and humor are tightly bound together by an

unforeseeable major twist that will keep the reader engaged and connected until the very end.

About the Author: Phoebe Lane

I have a pretty average life. I wear the mom hat, the wife shirt, the daughter pants, and the working woman peep-toe heels. But when I strip all of that down, I am an author.

I'm still amazed I get to say that.

I live in the US with a wonderful husband, two kids, and a dog. My husband entertains me with his hilarious form of ADD, and the kids are hell bent on proving I can live with only a few hours of sleep per day. I wake up every day just so I can experience that first sip of coffee in the morning. I swore off Disney movies the moment I watched Mufasa die, which scarred me for life. No pun intended. I pick out all the orange flavored pieces from my candy and feed them to my hubby.

I'm emotionally dynamic and of peculiar mind which is code for "hormonal and crazy." Reading contemporary romance novels is my vice, and writing them is my most valued privilege. My debut novel, Cursive, is currently available as an eBook on Amazon/B&N/Kobo/iBooks.

Review:
My review of Cursive is a 5-star review the reasoning is I am a romantic I love a good love story and this one was no different. I can also tell you that what makes a good love story is when the writer keeps the audience in a constant what is going to happen next stage. Cursive was like that and of course make sure to have some tissue when reading it. Cursive is about Aislynn and her life after her she didn't get married, after she grew up with a mother who wasn't so motherly, and the love between her and Jace. Finding out that one person can be your anchor if Aislynn allowed herself to open up to him. Jace has his own issues and relationships and in order to come to terms with those and move forward he needs to come clean with Aislynn and he leaves it up to her on whether to stay or walk away. Aislynn has more than a few problems but as you continue to read Cursive you will see how she feels like a real person with real problems and she has to confess those problems to Jace and pray that he doesn't walk away from her. Cursive is a book that if you talk about it sometimes it's hard not to giveaway the entire story line. I read this book in 1 day I could not put it down and I am so glad I didn't. Please this is a must read.

As a stay at home mom, La Rocca was able to pursue her love for writing in GA. It was always an unrealized dream to write her own book. With the encouragement of her mother, La Rocca began to set to paper her ideas for her first book.

Review:
Lifeless left me speechless. I loved this book and the story between Kade and Scarlett. When I first started reading I was a little bummed cause it seemed like it would be just like any other rock star meets broken hearted girl. BUT...That was so NOT the case. Catching the eye of someone Tall, Dark, and Handsome in a night club, but not taking a second look after their eye contact Scarlett continues her night out with her Best Friend Jules. When she meets Kade again for her job she realizes that there could be more, but is she willing to risk it all for him? Kade has a secret that he keeps because he wants to move on with his life but when the truth comes out will Scarlett be able to trust him again?
I really enjoyed how this book kept my interest with the mystery of it. I cried, laughed, and became speechless as I read it until the end. I don't want to continue to much as it will give to much away but from start to finish this book is amazing. I recommend going out and getting it now.

Exclusive Excerpt #2:
“This might take a while,” he says.

“I guess I’ll just have to close my eyes and suffer through it.”

“No suffering,” he promises.

His hand slides up my back, and my muscles, already tightened with awareness, start to ache from wanting. His fingers skate up my neck, and my nerves jangle. I’m suddenly wondering if he’s ever going to kiss me.

I reach my hand up his chest, knotting his shirt in my grasp and yank him to me. “Caleb.”

He lowers his head to me, and my eyelids flutter close. I lean toward him, waiting—just waiting—for when he touches me. I tighten my hold on him, trying to urge him to do it now, but, no, he doesn’t heed my unspoken demands. He doesn’t hurry. He doesn’t rush. It’s like he has all the time in the world until he kisses me.

But then his finger gently swipes over my mouth, tracing it softly, like he’s memorizing the shape of me. Like he’s trying to get all the details of my mouth down before his mouth claims me. He presses lightly against my lower lip, dipping into the soft plumpness there.

I smooth my hands out on his chest. I’m pressed against him so tight that I can’t do more than reach up and grasp his shoulders. I want to feel his hair slide through my fingers.

But more than that I want to feel him against me.

Almost as if he heard my thoughts, Caleb’s lips flutter against the corner of my mouth, where he removed the berry stain only a few moments ago. I still, and his hand leaves my neck to slide down to rest at the small of my back before moving back up in a slow movement that has pleasure coursing through my body. I gasp, and his mouth flutters another kiss at the corner. Brief, these flutter kisses—never quite landing fully on my lips or staying too long.

I make a sound of want. I press even closer, as if I’m inking myself on his skin, in his blood, urging this patient, sexy man to take my mouth—and to take it now.

He doesn’t.

His mouth finally touches mine but it’s not a kiss that claims or declares intent.

He gives.

His lips give kisses upon mine, like rain watering a parched land. His mouth moves touches mine, gentle, strong, and it makes me cling to him, to give more to him, to open up in ways I never have with any man before.

His teeth catch on my lower lip, lightly tugging, as if asking a question, one that I answer by opening my mouth and letting him in. His tongue slides against me, tasting, seeking. He’s all I know, all I want to know, and I want him to know me in all the ways, too.

This might just be lust, but it doesn’t feel like it—not with this assured gentleness, this giving of a kiss, like he’s waited all his life for this—for me—and now that I’m here, he’s not going to do anything to mess it up.

He doesn’t make me feel weak in his kiss. I feel strong, treasured . . . desired.

His kiss turns hotter, as if he’s losing control of himself.

Oh yes, I think. Lose control, Caleb. Lose it with me.
