Loosing Virginity

Loosing Virginity

Synthesis:
Olivia Spurgeon has been a good girl her entire life. Her friends have called her Spurgeon the Virgin since 9th grade. Why? Because everyone in her group of friends had already lost there virginity by then. Over the past four years it has been like a foreign object attached to her and even named it something simple.

Virginity.

Now, she's a freshman in college and still hasn't done the deed. All three of her roommates do not have Virginity attached to them and they aren't scared to show it off. Olivia is jealous. She wants what they are having, feeling. One day she finally decides that she doesn't want Virginity attached to her anymore and begins the journey of shedding it.

Excerpt 1: I set my cup to the side and leaned in to him. I gently kissed his lips that were sweet from the wine. My mind had shut off. There were no tumultuous thoughts or conflicting emotions like there had been last night. I was completely in the moment with him… Alone with him.
I gently pulled back from him and looked seriously into his eyes. I studied his face, and his hair, touching them gently as if they were made of porcelain. I leaned back in to kiss his neck and breathe no words but just my desire into his ear. His arms tightened around my waist and he pulled his breath in quickly as he pulled me on top of him. I was nervous. My body seemed to know what it wanted. My hands grasped his hair as our lips met. I felt myself pull closer and closer to him, my hips grinding gently against his.  In one motion I sat up, still straddling him and pulled the top of my dress down to expose my breasts. I didn't feel self-conscious or awkward. I felt excited and confident and I wanted him to feel that way too. He unbuttoned his shirt, exposing his perfectly defined chest. I leaned back down and felt all the blood in my body race as the warmth of our bodies connected.
As we kissed, I reached down and, a little clumsily, unbuttoned his pants and gently pulled the zipper down. This was it. I was ready. I wanted to lose my virginity here, with this man, right now. It wasn't the alcohol. It was him, Ryder Dawson. He was the man worthy enough.
"Are you sure?" he asked.

Review:
I give Loosing Virginity 4 stars this book was very well written and the story line was good. I thought it could of maybe added a bit more excitement but none the less it was a good story. It's about a college student who has 3 other roommates that are all sexually active mainly her best friends and bedroom mate who has no shame in having sex while Olivia is in the bedroom. What college student does right. Loosing Virginity follows Olivia's story on how she becomes so frustrated with still having her virginity but at the same time wants to loose it with someone she trusts and loves. Her best friend get's the bright idea to start a dating website to help her find "the one". This story goes on to tell all the experiences she had with trying to find "the one". Olivia meets many people but when she encounters Big Stick and the revelation of who he actually is the chemistry is undeniable. Will she finally loose it or guard her heart from the drama that unfolds in her guarded life? Please read this lovely story and have laughs, cry's, and enjoyment.

For Sin, she found herself wanting to break all the rules, to extend her time with the stranger who stole her heart. Vegas was just the right kind of place to take such a gamble. Meeting up with BE at the gondolas was a risk. Love went against everything they had promised, but the best things in life can’t be planned.

Soon Alysin will be tested.

After guarding her heart for so long, she finally let a man in and discovered that the worst things in life happened when she least expected them. When she walked in on BE with another woman and overheard their heated conversation, she suddenly remembered there was a reason she made these rules.

Will broken rules lead to broken hearts or will she realize that though love was a gamble, she was all in?

A Stand-alone Novel

Review
Wow! Let’s just start there. This book was an emotional roller coaster for me...

Natalie and her 21 year old daughter leave Australia on a trip to New York for a few weeks.  Natalie has been separated from her husband for 2 years, she is still carrying around a lot of  hurt left by her ex-husband, Her hope was to maybe start new after this trip little does she know how quickly that wish will come true.
By accident a quick trip out of the freezing rain and into the MOMA Art gallery changes everything…… Natalie and Nick were drawn to each other instantly they had this natural charge that ran thru both of their souls. Their connection was obvious, although their relationship does not come without complications….. both have their own set of insecurities but it is something they are both quickly overcoming ……unfortunately there is never a happy ending when there is a husband in the mix, Natalie still needs that divorce for her happily ever after…….. Natalie receives a phone call that changes everything in an instant.  Natalie has to rush home and leave Nick, her soul mate behind. My heart broke absolutely for her. Once she got home and assessed her situation she had plenty of decisions to make, and once again my heart broke……her husband Gabe wanted her back which means she needed to decide between her husband who she would always love and the man who had taught her that she was beautiful and wanted. Eventually the time came and she made the decision to give her old life a second chance, she had a family and a past with her husband, and admittedly he had changed into the man he thought she needed him to be. However that meant more heartbreak for Natalie and for Nick……I’m not sure that I could have been able to make the same choice and even though she moved on with her life with Gabe, Nick was never far from her mind..... Then another chance to see that connection come full circle happens~ How will Natalie react, will things change does she end up with Nick?

The Epilogue crushed my heart and sent me over the edge ... will not give anything away here but it does explain A LOT..... Take time to enjoy this true love story!!

Holly Excerpt:

My body feels pulled toward the ground by lead weights, I can barely move. Even if not for the pressure, everything feels stiff. As I assess my situation, I hear voices around me, arguing. I focus on my breathing, trying to keep it steady so they won’t know I’m awake. If I open my eyes, I’ll have to face him and I’m not ready to do that.

“I’ve already arranged to help her get clean, I don’t see why you think we owe her anything beyond that.” I may not know Dylan well, but it doesn’t take a genius to know he’s pissed off. But at whom?

“Dylan,” a deep male voice warns. I’m trying to figure out why that voice sounds familiar to me. “Do you really mean to tell me you’ve never fucked up?”

“Like this?” He sneers. “No, I’ve never almost gotten myself and someone I claim to care about killed because I was so fucked up I couldn’t think straight.”

The words are completely true, but that doesn’t make them sting any less. While I have no clue what day it is or how long I’ve been asleep, I remember everything that led to me being here. I wish this was one of those times when the movies had it right, that I had no clue what happened to me.

“Dylan, you’re not being fair,” Tasha sobs. Her voice is further away than the men. Knowing she’s in the room causes an internal struggle. I want to see her, to apologize to her, to beg her to forgive me, but I’m not sure I deserve her forgiveness. I’m the one who led her into the arms of her ex-husband in a feeble attempt to save myself.

“Tasha,” Dylan scolds her in a low voice. “You’re the only reason I’m even standing here having this conversation. Don’t push your luck tonight.”

“Dylan, calm down,” the deep voice encourages. There’s no one in my life I can think of who would be sticking up for me this way, so who is he? “Take a look at your woman. Do you see how much this hurts her? How torn she is? Don’t make this even harder on her. Holly hasn’t always been the mess you know her as…”

“And how would you know? You’re the one who told me she was bad news. Now, all of a sudden you’re saying she’s not really a messed up junkie?”

Review:

Sometimes you read a book that you just connect with on such a personal level that it leaves you with many things to think about. So Much It Hurts is one of those books; I have no doubt that it will have the same effect on others who read it as well. I am in awe at how easy it was to connect with the characters and their stories. This book earned its whole 5 stars!

Kaitlyn is married to Michael and they have a 5 year old that is her entire world, but that is not saying that her relationship is perfect. Kaitlyn is struggling with a lot of her life choices mainly why she and Michael are still married they seem more like roommates rather than husband and wife.

Katelynn and her friends go on a girl’s beach trip for the weekend for some much needed girl time, It is here that her past come back to smack her in the face. She runs into Chris, he is not her high school sweetheart but he is a very big part of her past. Kaitlyn feels like Chris saved her from a bad situation and in many situations he did but in the process of saving her he ended up leaving her with no closure for either of them.

While on this trip Kaitlyn and Chris make some questionable choices, but that is not to say I don’t totally understand them, unfortunately the weekend comes to a close and Kaitlyn has to go back to reality. Once she comes home she struggles with the choices she has made, and tells Michael about everything. Does he understand, will they work out, does she leave her life as she knows it to chase her past….read the book J

This story is of true love, heartache, forgiveness, and redemption. It broke my heart made me sad and then gave me hope. My heart completely connected with Kaitlyn, not only for the choices she was forced to make but also the choices she had the ability to control, because in the end none of them were easy.

Excerpt:
“Kaitlyn,” he said, “you’re the nicest, prettiest girl I have met at this school. Yet, there is something about you that seems…off. It just feels like you’re hiding something. I have seen you crying several times now, and the dark circles under your eyes tell me that you aren’t getting enough sleep. I don’t know, you just look like you could use a friend right now—someone to talk to that could help you. I could be that person, you know. I could help you.”
I whirled around, narrowing my eyes and giving him a look of adamant determination. “No. I can’t let you get involved.”
Reaching over my shoulders, Chris placed his hands against the vending machine behind me. He towered over me, but leaned down to look me square in the face; his forehead nearly brushed against mine. The heat of his breath against my face caused my own breath to hitch as he almost closed the gap between us. My heart skipped a beat under the intensity of his stare. The longing in his eyes said everything and nothing in the exact same moment.
With pure conviction he whispered, “I already am.”
