This Story was very easy to fall in love with...it
can be read as a standalone but it also continues some of the story told in Falling
into You.
We first met Jason and Becca in Falling into
You, this book gives you their story. After Nell blows off Jason and convinces
him to ask out Becca, her best friend we get to see exactly how their
relationship goes after that. It really started off shaky because really who wants
to be another person’s second choice?
Jason is one of the cool guys in high school...not
your typical idea of a jock yes he is sexy and is the #1 high school wide receiver in the state,
but he also he makes good grades…... he appears to have it all but
unfortunately that's just on the surface.. Jason Has so very deep issues at
home that no one knows about.
Becca is one of those smart, shy, sweet,
beautiful but doesn’t know it girls. She absolutely has NO social life aside of
Nell because her parents are super overprotective. She's beyond smart taking
college classes, playing the piano her schedule often leaves her with no choice
but to do the right thing. She has a problem with stuttering so secretly, she
writes poetry to elegantly get things out of her head that she can’t normally
say.
After their first date which was incredibly
rough considering the circumstances it didn’t take long for these two to fall
deeply in love...they are still in high school but it doesn’t take them long to
see how special the other one is. They actually help one other through the
problems each of them faces. This story follows these lovebirds through high
school and college. There is plenty of heartache along the way but never from
each other. They manage to support each other and still be happy through it
all. This book had my emotions all over the place, maybe more so than Falling into
You!!
I HONESTLY didn’t think that Jasinda Wilder
could make me feel the way she did a second time but she really outdid herself.
I love that this book told both stories but didn’t really overlap, just gave us
some insight on Nell and Colt and how their story ends!!!
