“This might take a while,” he says.

“I guess I’ll just have to close my eyes and suffer through it.”

“No suffering,” he promises.

His hand slides up my back, and my muscles, already tightened with awareness, start to ache from wanting. His fingers skate up my neck, and my nerves jangle. I’m suddenly wondering if he’s ever going to kiss me.

I reach my hand up his chest, knotting his shirt in my grasp and yank him to me. “Caleb.”

He lowers his head to me, and my eyelids flutter close. I lean toward him, waiting—just waiting—for when he touches me. I tighten my hold on him, trying to urge him to do it now, but, no, he doesn’t heed my unspoken demands. He doesn’t hurry. He doesn’t rush. It’s like he has all the time in the world until he kisses me.

But then his finger gently swipes over my mouth, tracing it softly, like he’s memorizing the shape of me. Like he’s trying to get all the details of my mouth down before his mouth claims me. He presses lightly against my lower lip, dipping into the soft plumpness there.

I smooth my hands out on his chest. I’m pressed against him so tight that I can’t do more than reach up and grasp his shoulders. I want to feel his hair slide through my fingers.

But more than that I want to feel him against me.

Almost as if he heard my thoughts, Caleb’s lips flutter against the corner of my mouth, where he removed the berry stain only a few moments ago. I still, and his hand leaves my neck to slide down to rest at the small of my back before moving back up in a slow movement that has pleasure coursing through my body. I gasp, and his mouth flutters another kiss at the corner. Brief, these flutter kisses—never quite landing fully on my lips or staying too long.

I make a sound of want. I press even closer, as if I’m inking myself on his skin, in his blood, urging this patient, sexy man to take my mouth—and to take it now.

He doesn’t.

His mouth finally touches mine but it’s not a kiss that claims or declares intent.

He gives.

His lips give kisses upon mine, like rain watering a parched land. His mouth moves touches mine, gentle, strong, and it makes me cling to him, to give more to him, to open up in ways I never have with any man before.

His teeth catch on my lower lip, lightly tugging, as if asking a question, one that I answer by opening my mouth and letting him in. His tongue slides against me, tasting, seeking. He’s all I know, all I want to know, and I want him to know me in all the ways, too.

Review:

This was my first book from this author and I must say it won’t be my last!!

The Book begins with Rayna’s home life, it is less than desirable and she is currently in her senior year of school high school. Rayna goes out of town to check out a college, when she comes home her life has been flipped upside down….she immediately makes the decision to get out.

After she gets out of town she goes to stay with her friend Michelle, and begins college. Michelle graduates a year before Rayna and moves to California. When Rayna graduates Michelle convinces her to move there as well and helps get her a job. There are some VERY unexpected twists that had my stomach in knots.

Then she meets Azmir, things with them automatically spark they definitely both feel it. In the beginning she is hesitant which is totally understandable considering some of those twists and turns I was talking about. Azmir is a very SEXY, very wealthy man who attracts plenty of women; but Rayna is super tired of men lying and playing games. Will they end up together???

In the beginning I had a little bit of a hard time getting into this book but then it quickly caught my attention, I can’t wait for the next book to come out!!

I loved this book more than the first!! It took me little to no time to finish it, I just had to know what the outcome would be for not only Claire but for Claire and her relationships. I believe that she has finally realized that she hit rock bottom and that her behavior was not only destructive to herself but to her family as well. At first only Emmett understands what Claire is going through and all her family wants to do is keep him away, Claire is sent to rehab where she meets an amazing new friend Kylie, they have an immediate connection.

There are a lot of unexpected twists throughout this book, Emmett does an amazing job trying to keep Claire going in the right direction, and amazingly enough she wants to do it for not only him but for herself.

I could not put this book down; I needed to know what was going to happen for these two….. I need more!!!! I think this book covers a topic that is not seen often and C.M. Stunich has done an amazing job capturing the struggles of someone with an eating disorder. This book had me on the edge of my seat….I definitely give it a whole hearted 5 stars!!

Review:

Let me start by saying this book was AMAZING….. I had kinda been in a funk and really needed this book! The only problem …….I now have a book hang over J

Painted lines is not your average romance book. This book is intense and very raw. The story line  is about a girl who has been dealt a the most terrible hand in life and  she is working on getting  past all the trauma that she has endured. Scout is a cute spunky girl who is really fierce, sarcastic and very badass when it comes to building and painting bikes. She has a very close group of friends and family that are her whole life and unfortunately they let no one in……. although they are trying to  keeping her safe it's also suffocating her and making it hard for her to move on.

Thayne is patient, sweet, and very respectful of Scout and her past. He seriously is one of the most supportive, understanding and loving guy and he honestly has NO problem stepping in and making sure that Scout is taken care of. In short he is bad boy with an AMAZING heart, and he only has eyes for Scout, and will wait as long as it takes for her to be ready

Scout's team of bike/car rebuilders decided to enter a reality show to win 500 thousand dollars. This is where they meet Thayne …….They all have the confidence to win each weeks challenges. However what they are all not prepared for is for some old demons to resurface….in the end is Scout strong enough to endure it???

Honestly I had a love affair with this book, I could not put it down….I laughed, I cried, I was really pissed off, and I almost completely lost it at the end……I definitely recommend this book be added to your TBR list!!! It is now one of my favorites!!!! If I could I would rate it a 10!!!!!!

A Lucky Second Chance had a good story line and plot that kept me interested throughout the story.

Emma came to her sense after her, then fiancé, beat her bad enough that she finally decided she had enough. She fled their home in Florida and returned home in Chicago to live with her brother until she could get her feet.  Shortly after she started her new job, she literally runs into Nathan. From the beginning they both have a very strong attraction to one another.

Like most Couples, both Emma and Nate bring their own baggage to the relationship. Emma struggles with her own insecurities about telling Nate about her abusive Ex, but after a twist that occurs while they are on a romantic getaway with one another she is forced to tell him.

Nate has issues of his own which he fails to tell Emma and really it throws a wrench in their relationship…...His ex tries rekindle her relationship with Nate and it makes Emma doubt his love for her. Can Emma and Nate trust their love for one another? Guess you’ll have to read it J

This book definitely has a lot of twists and turns and made me want to find out what would happen next, I only had one problem…..I say if you are going to write a sex scene in a book at least make it HOT, some of the scenes had GREAT POTENTIAL but then they fizzled out quickly, aside of this issue (which is my personal taste) The book was great.

Nathan turned into an alley, wrapped his arms around my waist, and gently pushed me backwards against the brick wall. He slid his hand up and pushed my hair aside out of my face, and gently grabbed my head, tilted it back, and locked his luscious lips to mine. He stood there kissing me as our tongues met, twirling inside our mouths. He was heavenly. Holy shit. God, he knew how to kiss. I loved the feel of his warm hand on my cheek and his other hand firmly grabbing my waist. My heart beat faster and faster as the kiss intensified, mesmerizing me.  I took my hands and pushed him back softly and took a deep breath.

We both stood there for a few seconds and just stared at each other completely speechless. There it was again, that radiating feeling that just shook my body.
