Review:
If you haven't read Spark then GO AND READ IT!!!! Burn is a 5+ star book that is the sequel to Spark. When we left off in Spark Velany and Eric were on their way to Texas to meet his family. On the plan Velany swears she sees her brother the troubled one that tortured her life. After they arrive in Texas mysterious things start to happen and Velany thinks she see's her brother Aiden all over but she can't be sure and she thinks she's going crazy. Upon returning to Boston both Velany and Eric start to settle in to their lives together, but just when you think that things are going to be okay they get hit with a curve ball. And when that hits the drama full of anger, tears, resentment, and loss come with is. Velany has to deal with a loss so devastating that she doesn't include Eric and it will tear them apart. Or will it? Velany's mother comes into play in this book and what she asks of Velany is devastating to help the one person who has torn her world up side down with hurt (her brother). Is Velany strong enough to help him or will she say screw you and let him die. The turn of event in this book had me in tears, laughing, and all out shocked and outraged. However you have to read it in order to find out the ending. And never doubt that her BFF is in the mix as well.
