Synopsis:
Maddie has
been through more tragedy than most people would ever see in their life. She

has been marked as the cause of her mother’s death and lives with this guilt
every day. She is close to giving up until she sets her eyes on the one person
who doesn’t look at her with disgust.
Jase is the new guy in school; he was transferred to a new school after moving out of his father’s house into his mothers. But Jase knows about Maddie and knows about her past. He thinks he can keep this a secret and help protect her. When the truth comes out will they be able to survive their worlds being turned upside down? Will their connection be strong enough to make it through? Sometimes love isn't enough

Review:
I
love it when a book catches me off guard! I had NO idea what to expect when I started
this book honestly it was a pleasant surprise! The drama, the heartbreak and
suspense really grabbed my attention and I couldn’t put it down! You watch
Maddie grow and learn to trust someone, which is a big feat considering all the
horrible things she has survived! Jace
seems to be her calm in the storm and always seems to show up at the exact
moments she needs him the most.
Maddie
has been through more than any person should have to live with to put it
lightly her life sucks…. Everyone in town thinks they know her story and
unfortunately they couldn’t be more wrong, therefore she suffers ……Maddie after
the death of her mom has given up and is just trying to survive until she turns
18 and can leave her step-father and never look back!
Jase
just transferred to Maddie’s High school and she LITERALLY runs into him on his
first day. He is a senior just like Maddie, but really does not care if he is
popular or not……. he wants to be friends with Maddie But she has trust issues
and thinks that he will be like everyone else once he finds out about her past.
But for some reason Jase will not take
no for an answer and Maddie’s walls begin to crumble but she worries that they
will both get hurt if he gets mixed up in her world.
Unfortunately
Maddie's greatest fears become realities…will Jace show up when he needs her?
