I live in Florida with my husband and four kids. I've always had a love for reading books and writing. Being an English major in college, I wanted to teach at the college level but that was not to be. I went on to receive an MBA and became a project manager until quitting to raise my family. I currently work part-time with my husband and full-time embracing one of my biggest passions—writing.
I wear a lot of hats! Writer, book-lover, wife, soccer-mom, taxi driver, and the all around go-to person of the family. However, I always find time to read. One of my favorite family outings use to be taking my kids to the bookstore or the library. Today, my oldest child is in college and my twins are juniors so they no longer go with me on these outings. And although I don't need to go to the actual store anymore because I have the greatest device ever invented—a Kindle, I still do. There's nothing like a paperback. So now my four year old and I make dates out of going to the bookstore--it's time I love and cherish.
I like to believe in soulmates, kindred spirits, true friends, and Happily-Ever-Afters. I love to drink champagne, listen to music, and hopes to always stay young at heart. <3

Review:
If you haven't read Connected then please don't read Torn until you do otherwise you will be lost. Torn is a 5 star rating and you will not even think less. I had the opportunity to read both books back to back and I was so in love with the characters that I felt like I was in the story with them. This story is about Dahlia and how she thought her life was planned a certain way however her true love or she thinks is brought back to her life. River is a hot shot rock star who not only fell in love with Dahlia but make her his. In Connected there was a shocker and in Torn it picks up right where it left off with River and Dahlia trying to figure out their lives but when secrets start to pile up and River's band is trying to go on tour their lives take a turn for the worst. Can they stay together if their secrets are released? And can their love last all the tragedy that hits them? Or will Dahlia's ex-fiance tear them apart? I will tell you this when I read this book my skeleton was shaking inside and my heart was on the verge of busting wide open. I cried and felt so passionate about this story I couldn't even believe it myself. I was not able to put this book down and to me that is a good story. Kim Karr brings your emotions to the service when you start reading and immediately start taking sides. Please if there is any series to read right now this would be it.
Great review! I can't wait to read Torn!
